Nutrient Power Campaign:
Transforming Health and Research
The Nutrient Power Campaign, launched in collaboration with GrassrootsHealth in 2016, has been a resounding success. This groundbreaking initiative empowers individuals to take control of their health while driving vital nutrient research forward. Starting with a focus on vitamin D education and testing, the campaign expanded in 2017 to include omega-3 DHA and EPA testing within the same self-testing kit. During the campaign, more than 12,000 participants were actively monitoring their vitamin D levels, with an additional 1,000 individuals testing their omega-3 levels.
The campaign’s outreach efforts have generated an astonishing 250 million media impressions, capturing the attention of not only the public, but also journalists, healthcare professionals, industry associations and congressional leaders alike. The message of reversing nutrient deficiencies through accessible blood spot testing and supplementation has the potential to redefine the standard of care. As a testament to its impact, Organic & Natural Health, along with research partner GrassrootsHealth received the prestigious Nutrition Business Journal’s 2017 Education Award in recognition of the Nutrient Power Campaign’s outstanding contributions to education and research.
